To hold whatever they're piercing steady. They used them for all of my piercings. But a pin should do the job. An earring has a thicker point, but it's better than going in with that one first.
[She thinks of the earrings she was given, and how dull the points were... trying to force those through her skin wouldn't be very pleasant. But she reaches into a pocket on her jacket, and pulls out the box they came in, before opening them and showing them to Lisbeth.
It's a lovely set, make to look like twinkling stars.]
[While Nill gets out her earrings, Lisbeth opens the cigarettes she gave her. She clenches one between her teeth and lights it. Lisbeth exhales from the side of her mouth once the earrings are out. She gently takes the box from Nill.]
They're pretty. I'll be right back.
[She sets the box aside and gets up from her seat. Lisbeth makes her way to Anne's room to rummage around. If she even knew what Lisbeth was doing in her room, there was no doubt that Anne would've been annoyed. But she's soon back in the living room with a set of Anne's sewing needles.
Lisbeth grabs the bottle of vodka that's sitting on the counter before joining Nill again.]
You're not scared are you?
[Not that Nill is ever scared. But, hey, being restrained in any sense scared the fuck out of Lisbeth so who knows what might freak out her friend.]
[Well, if Lisbeth was going to restrain her then Nill might have an issue with it. But since she doubts Lisbeth would have much reason, the idea of this doesn't bother her a great deal.]
Should I be?
[She knew it would hurt, and Nill's never had the desire to pierce her ears before, but the earrings were too lovely. She really wanted to be able to wear them.]
No. Just remember the psyching yourself out and anticipating the pain only makes it worse.
It'll feel like I'm pinching your arm.
[As she's speaking, Lisbeth begins prepping Nill's ears, pushing her hair behind her shoulder. She rubs a little bit of the vodka to clean her lobe. It's not exactly rubbing alcohol, but it'll do.
Then, carefully, she takes the pin and hovers closely to Nill's earlobe. Quickly, she pushes the tip through.]
[Lisbeth feels her flinch, but she's glad there's no screaming. She pulls the pin through. Then, taking one of the earrings, she slips the point through the open hole and secures it in the back.]
One down.
[After cleaning Nill's other ear lobe, she repeats these actions and soon, Nill's ears are bedazzled.]
[Nill's a good sport about the whole thing, and she stays nice and still while Lisbeth does it for her. Once she thinks it's done, she carefully lifts a hand to touch one of the earrings, without jarring the ear too much.]
Keep it clean. Don't touch your ears unless you have to and always wash your hands before you do. To clean it, I'd say use some kind of sea salt solution until you're able to go somewhere where you can get the solution techs use.
Let me know if it starts to not feel right. It might be infected and then we'll have to take it out.

She flinches slightly when the needle goes through her skin, her wings twitching, but otherwise she seems pretty okay with it.]

Thank you.

You're welcome. They look really pretty when you have them on.

How long should I let them heal?

[She shrugs.]
Which, I mean, isn't a bad thing since I like having you over.

...You should come to where I live some time. You'd like the people there-- they're good kids.

[She leans back onto her hands.]
How many roommates do you have?

...She actually needs co consider that for a few moments.]
I think there are at least six of us there.
