You're probably going to be angry. What kind of guy forgets to call his girlfriend, right? Uh. To tell you the truth, I must have hit my head on something. Hard. Because you're really beautiful, and apparently you don't wear-um.
I mean. I had notes in my contacts, and there's all these hearts beside yours, and I can't believe I didn't see that until now. But I remember-yeah. Yeah.
Man, if you're still speaking to me I'm such a lucky guy!
So...so call me back, okay? It's obvious that we need to talk. And I'm sorry for leaving. I really didn't mean to. I hope you weren't worried.
[Holy shit. Give him a moment of delayed response here, he has to fumble around a minute and figure out how to screencap. He'll be wanting to remember this later.]
[And he means it when he says that. There's no time to waste when a hot date is waiting for you. He brushes his teeth twice and then runs out to catch the train. He's not even sure his shoes are on the right feet, but it's not important at the moment.
It's maybe 15 minutes before he gets there, train ride, transfer and all. He stops himself outside the door of the place (probably in plain view just the same) to fix his shoes and check his hair in the window, then, he strolls casually in as if he wasn't hurrying at all.]
[it takes her a bit longer to get ready and she's dressed simply in jeans and shirt as usual with her black motorcycle jacket zipped up to block out the cold wind. she gets there only a few minutes before yosuke, a cup of coffee already in front of her. she wonders if he's changed, wherever he went when he disappeared.
[He spots her after a moment, and tiptoes over. He's not stealthy at all, but that's not the point of sneaking up on her. She'll notice him, he's pretty sure. But it's cute and romantic, and she fills his stomach with warm fuzzy butterflies just sitting there drinking her coffee.
He wraps his arms loosely around her from behind and plants a feather light kiss on the back of her neck, murmuring against her skin softly before he lets go and slides into the seat beside her.]
[she jumps a little when she feels someone sneak up on her, but the greeting is a familiar one, especially the kiss on her neck. there's a ghost of a smile on her face when he sits down next to her.]
Me too. I would have hurried if I knew what I was missing.
[He reaches over, a little giddy he's so excited to see her. He puts one big clumsy palm over hers and admires how pretty and petite she looks beside him, her pale fingers contrasting with his tan ones beautifully. Yosuke can't resist curling the pads of his fingers loose into her palm. It's nice to touch her. Nice to sit close enough to smell her shampoo. He inhales it, and remembers the scent as soon as he does. It sends a little thrill up his spine.]
[He is a bit different, in fact. Healthier now. If he's underweight it's only be a few lbs, far less jarring than the skin and bones he'd gotten down to before while he was sick. His skin is tanned, as if he just came in out of a nice summer day. There's a new layer of wiry muscle to his whole body, as if he's been working out hard.
He's still skinny rather than bulky, but not quite as waif ish as before. And yes, he's grown a bit. His palms are definitely a bit larger and former, and slightly more calloused. The haunted look he'd sported after the hunt is far away in the background now. He looks healthier and happier by far. It's obvious that the trip home did the kid some good.]
Voice.

Sorry. Is it weird?
Re: action
It's not weird. Just... different. I'll get used to it.
Re: action
[He grins at her, just slightly cheeky, and runs his thumb over the soft skin on the back of her hand.]
It's nice.
Re: action
Can you hold your alcohol a little better now, then?
Re: action
[And if he gets dizzy, that means it's time to stop drinking. He's got this.]
